Change in Alert Levels – 6th September 2021

6 September, 2021

Dear Parents.

It is great news that we will be back at school on Thursday 9th September

in Alert Level 2.

In Alert Level 2  (Please note this information re masks is from 2020 so I will update you if we get new information on this.)

Masks are not required at school or on any school transport.

The school buses will each come here to school at the end of the day to pick students up, before going to Maniototo Area School.

Sick people must stay at home and get tested if they have Covid like symptoms. You must self-isolate if you have been in close contact with someone who tests positive.

If you are coming into school for any reason, you must sign into school using the QR posters at the school entrances, or sign the visitors register at the front office area, if you do not have the QR tracing app on your phone.

In the classroom, we will be encouraging healthy hygiene, i.e,

  • Cough and sneeze etiquette
  • Hand hygiene
  • Not getting too close to others

And our high touch surfaces will continue to be regularly cleaned and disinfected.

Daffodil Day fundraiser

This Friday 10th September we will hold our mufti Daffodil Day fundraiser. Children can come to school wearing yellow or bright clothes or just mufti. Please bring along a gold coin donation for the Cancer Society.

Thank you.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Thursday 9th September.

Kind regards,

Susan Mulholland
